Our 7 Day Immersion Course in Guatemala allows you to experience “Real World” Spanish in its most effective form. From twenty hours of one-on-one instruction with a native speaker to a home-stay with a Guatemalan family, this experience with make learning Spanish as easy as possible, while providing an incredibly rich cultural experience. Classes can be arranged any Monday throughout the year, making this program convenient for busy professionals and students.

 The school:
The approach is completely conversational and catered to your needs.
You work one-on-one with a native Guatemalan and experienced language instructor, so any Spanish experience (or none!) is great! Requests can be made to cater the topic of study. Example: Education or healthcare specified vocabulary. Of course the best practice will be at the end of your class, when you are in the street living in Spanish!   

Antigua, Guatemala
This colorful, UNESCO protected city is surrounded by beautiful towering
volcanoes and the cobblestone streets are dotted with ancient colored
buildings. The warm, traditional people can still be seen in their
indigenous garments, adding to the lush landscape.

Lodging:
You will stay with other students in the home of a local, middle class
Guatemalan family. The families are humble, gracious hosts with whom you will have plenty of opportunities to practice “Real World” Spanish with. You will have three meals per day included in the fee*.

Additional opportunities:
Additionally, you will have the opportunity to take part in other cultural
activities, such as visits to a coffee plantation, shopping at local markets,
tortilla making, salsa, instruction and more! Other excursions can be arranged for an additional fee.
