Central Texas Director-Veronica Hernandez
Veronica is a native Spanish speaker born in Mexico City, Mexico. She has been a life-long learner of the English language while remaining fluent in the Spanish language. She has studied English for over twenty-six years and recognizes the importance of a Bilingual education. She holds a Bachelors degree in Psychology from La Universidad Autonoma De Nuevo Leon in Monterrey, Mexico, specializing in behavioral analysis. As an undergraduate, she started a translating workshop for technical terminology at her Alma matter and after graduating she worked with children with learning disabilities where she discovered her passion for working with young people. She has lived in the United States since 1996, and became a professional judicial translator/interpreter from the Southern California School of Interpretation. Her two young children, ages four and two, as well as her extensive travels through Mexico and Central America, have reinforced her commitment to a bilingual education and the desire to encourage others to learn the Spanish language and culture.
